Res. See. Ece GÜMÜŞOĞLU ACAR's TÜBİTAK 1002 Rapid Support Program Project was accepted
The project entitled "Investigation of the Effects of Altered Expression of piRNAs in Ovarian Cancer Stem Cells" was supported. Within the scope of the project, ovarian cancer stem cells, which play a fundamental role in the recurrence of female ovarian cancer and chemotherapy resistance, will be analyzed. The role of small RNAs, piRNAs, in the regulation of these cells will be investigated. It is the continuation of the project carried out by Ece GÜMÜŞOĞLU ACAR at “University of Pittsburg, Magee Women Reseach Institute, UPMC Hillman Cancer Center-United States”.
